In cooperation with Giesbers AV Media, WEBER created an online game to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the ACTION stores. The idea behind the game was to show the player that one could decorate their whole house with ACTION products (and for a nice price too!).
The game was a variation on the well-known ‘hidden object’ theme: players were presented with different rooms containing lots of items and products. The goal of the player was to select all the items that were sold in the ACTION stores and ignore the other products.
A level ended when the players was out of time or when all the ACTION products were found. There were 6 locations in total: The bedroom, livingroom, study, kitchen, garage and garden.
Giebers AV media built all the rooms in the house in their studio from scratch, filling them with items from ACTION and other stores.
At the end of the game, the player was asked to estimate the total cost of all the ACTION products in the game. The closer the estimate, the higher the multiplier the player recieved for their score. This was one of the mechanics to counter cheaters.
